Text detector
Terms of use
Last updated: 14 October 2026
The service
The Text detector is currently a free service that estimates how likely a text (Arabic, English, German or Kurmanji) was written by an AI. By using the app you agree to these terms.
Free use has limits: a daily number of analyses per visitor, a maximum length per text, and a daily ceiling for the whole service. We may change these limits depending on capacity.
Accuracy of results
The result is a probability estimate, not proof; it is produced by AI models and statistical indicators. No tool detects AI text with certainty, and it may rate a human text as AI or the other way round, especially with short, formal or translated texts, or ones a language tool has corrected. Do not rely on it alone to accuse, judge or penalise anyone.
Your responsibility for content
- You are responsible for the texts you enter, and for having the right to have them analysed.
- Do not enter sensitive data about other people, such as health or financial data or ID numbers.
- Do not use the app for unlawful purposes.
Availability
The service is provided as is and as available, and we may change or stop all or part of it at any time.
Liability
As the service is free of charge, we are liable only for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and where liability is mandatory by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country’s law.
Privacy and contact
